racing off Southend in 1935 Bill Bishop The defaced Red Ensign on the anchored boat is of the Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club. Gerard B. Lambert bought the J-class yacht Yankee from a Boston syndicate to come and race very sportingly on level terms on the English circuit in that year.
